Wellbeing

Wellbeing is integral to Student Support. St John’s Catholic School is able to refer children to a counsellor from Catholic Care, who works within the school setting. Our counsellor is at school 4 days a week and provides invaluable support to our children.

Every child is entitled to be educated and cared for in a safe environment, and in a manner that enhances their opportunities to grow and develop to reach their full potential.

St John’s Catholic School operates under the Child Safe Framework. This Framework sets out the behavioural and system requirements necessary to guide child safety practices and procedures within Catholic Education in Tasmania. The Framework can be accessed as part of the Child Safe Organisation Policy located on the Catholic Education Tasmania website.
