Welcome to 1/2 Blue! A classroom of 29 friendly faces displaying W.E.S.T qualities and showing the spirit of Jesus in all we meet. In 1/ 2 Blue we strive be respectful, learners and responsible.
We are on a journey of learning together. We explore, question, observe, discover, think and investigate all areas of the Australian Curriculum.

In 3/4 Red we are learning to become more independent. We are trying our best to monitor our own learning, and ask questions when we are unsure of what to do. We are also focussing on taking constructive feedback on board and challenging ourselves.
Furthermore, one of our class goals this year is to communicate with each other more effectively. We are trying really hard to listen to each other, and work collaboratively in groups. Finally, we are learning to be WEST people. WEST stands for Welcoming, Encouraging, saying Sorry and saying Thank you. Our aim is to say thank you at least ten times each day.
We’ve had a wonderful start to the school year and we’re looking forward to working hard in order to achieve our goals.

In our class, we are very lucky to have two different teachers! Some of our favourite things in 3/4 Blue include learning about new topics, reading in the book nook, participating in Daily PE, and getting creative with art. We also really enjoy our weekly lessons in Indonesian, Music and Physical Education.
This year we are striving to always display our school values of being a Respectful and Responsible Learner, and have set our own personal goals, which we are excited to achieve. In 3/4 Blue we believe it is important to look after ourselves and each other, which is shown in one of our favourite class quotes: ‘You were made to be awesome. Create something that will make the world awesome.’ – Kid President.

Poem by students of 5/6 Red:
In 5/6 Red we often laugh and cheer and it’s certain we will have a bright and wonderful year. Our teachers are a little crazy and nobody really knows why – then we all saw a pencil rush by. They have a few unnamed sheets and there’s about 28 in our class. Tyler gives everyone high fives and we all play on the grass. Sometimes we use computers and play with other’s hair. We all talk very proudly and sometimes we don’t share. Rosie ties her shoelaces together and Ethan says goodbye. Brooke loves to dance and Tom thinks he can fly. Our teachers are a little crazy and now we understand why. We are the best at dodge ball and no-one could disagree, we have many talents like counting one, two, three. 5/6 Red have lots of fish, who we really care for. We do Maths, Science, English and a whole lot more. Everyone has lots of friends after all who else would you spend a lifetime with? As the years are swiftly passing by, there are so many things to recall. We only just started in Kindergarten when we were very, very small. We are building a foundation that we will use lifelong. 5/6 Red will enjoy these days as too soon they will be gone.
